The Ficer FAOC-40G-QPQP-010 is a 10-meter multimode fiber optic cable high-speed active optical cable (AOC) for data transmission. It supports the IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 standard and InfiniBand QDR, FDR10 protocols with four full-duplex channels of 10.3125 Gb/s data rate each. The cable is hot-pluggable, i.e., it can be plugged in or unplugged without disrupting the network. Both sides, an 850nm VCSEL array transmitter and QSFP+ connector are provided. A 2-wire management and diagnostic monitoring interface, SFF-8436 and SFF-8636 compliant is also provided. It has a single +3.3V power source, and low power usage and with support for a 150m connection length with MM OM3 fiber. RoHS compliant and containing no dangerous substances, it is the perfect answer for cost-efficient, high-performance fiber optic connectivity requirements.
