It has a nominal outer jacket diameter of 7.188 mm and insulation diameter of individual conductor at 1.140 mm for ruggedness physically. The white jacket is Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) which provides added protection by preventing the release of toxic smoke upon occurrence of fire incidents. The cable has an 11.34 kg maximum pull tension with an eight-time outside bend radius requirement and is therefore robust but flexible for typical routing and installation conditions. The cable is compliant with IEEE 802.3bt (Type 4) and power delivery standards such as ISO/IEC 14763-2 and TIA TSB-184-A, consistently and effectively for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.
